Lamborghini Unveils Exclusive ‘All Terrain’ Huracán Sterrato at Milan Design Week

Wed, Apr 24, 2024 1:49pmGrey Clock 3 min

Limited to just 12 units, these exclusive models have been creatively designed with unique colors by Lamborghinis Ad Personam studio and Centro Stile. The designs draw inspiration from four different landscapes perfectly suited to the Huracán Sterrato: snow, sand, off-beat tracks, and arid deserts.

The grand reveal was presented by Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, at the Segheria of Tanja Solci in Milan. This venue, renowned for its artistic restoration vision, served as the ideal backdrop to present the distinctive characteristics of these vehicles. Each car, reflecting the forces of nature, stood against a meticulously designed setting representing the environments that influenced their liveries, such as rocks, deserts, and forests.

A Fusion of Nature and High-Performance Engineering

“The Huracán Sterrato disrupted the super sports car landscape from the moment of its launch,” said Stephan Winkelmann. “The All-Terrain Sterrato celebrates its distinctive, multi-layer personality, always as much a super sports car as an explorer of new roads. Like nature, the Sterrato cannot be confined and will always find a way to carve innovative routes.”

The NEVE model captures the icy tones of the tundra, while SABBIA reflects the warm, neutral tones of desert sands and green cacti. BOSCO is inspired by forest trails, mimicking the hues of trees and moss, and TERRA evokes the earthy colors of moorlands and arid landscapes.

Each vehicle boasts a matte black roof and bonnet cover, complemented by 19” Morus matte black forged rims, color-matched calipers, and additional lights. The interiors are equally bespoke, featuring dark chrome, carbon twill with Alcantara, laser engraved Sterrato graphics, and an Ad Personam plaque that echoes the external livery.

Mitja Borkert – Design Director

The All-Terrain Sterrato is ideally Lamborghini in its dynamic abilities and its capacity to surprise with the unexpected, stated Design Director Mitja Borkert. The Sterrato concept, refined by our Centro Stile and Ad Personam departments, highlights the car’s multifaceted character and adventurous personality.

Italian Elegance and Advanced Engineering

During the Milan event, attendees not only witnessed the unveiling but also enjoyed a Michelin-starred Italian culinary experience, inspired by the diverse terrains the Sterrato embraces. The evening also included a display of a 3T bicycle, inspired by Lamborghini super sports cars, fragrances from Culti, and a demonstration of Tod’s iconic Gommino loafer, showcasing the art of Italian craftsmanship.

All 12 cars have been pre-sold to select clients across Lamborghini’s main commercial regions of the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific, as part of a broader production run of 1499 vehicles which began delivery in 2023.

“The Sterrato concept proved itself from the moment it was first unveiled, endorsed not only by awards won, media and customers acclaim, but from its resounding commercial success with all units immediately sold out,” said Chief Commercial and Marketing and Officer, Federico Foschini. “Limited series that demonstrate Lamborghini’s competence in personalization through our Ad Personam studio are an important part of our business model, with Milan Design Week the perfect forum to present this capsule edition.”

Federico Foschini – Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

The Sterrato’s engineering includes a 5.2-liter V10 engine delivering 610 CV and 560 Nm of torque, complemented by a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and electronically controlled all-wheel drive. Designed for optimal performance on varying surfaces, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 260 km/h, embodying the thrill of driving both on and off the road.
